"A" "D" "L" MINE, MINE, MINE

Puppy food

"A" Man oh man! But puppy food suuuuurrreee tastes good! I am sneaking it every chance I can get. And boy am I staying in trouble for it. :( Mom keeps wondering why I have to go and try to get it out of Lori's crate when they supply me with wonderful, healthy stuff of my own. Well, I guess my best and only defense....anything that is "forbidden" always tastes better. Mom has tried putting it in a special bowl and keeping an eye on it....yelp! I ate it the minute she left to go to the bathroom. Then she put it on a plate in the front room by the tv. Yelp....got to that too. Now she is only putting it in Lori's crate so she can have access to it when its her nap time. So far, she has forgotten to reshut the crate door a few times.....you can sure bet where I went! No shame....I have no shame. I like to eat.

Muggsy update

"D" I heard mom talking to dad. It appears the G-mom Roberts got Muggsy a playpen. What a smart idea! He now has a play area that is safe while he grows up. He also has a crate for sleeping, when G-mom isn't napping with him by her side. hehehehe I think Muggsy is going to really like his home. I am happy for him and G-mom. Oh yeal, its Muggsy with 2 g's....I found out I was spelling it wrong.

Skeeter and Food

"L" Skeeter and I have a great time playing with the BIG DOG food. I can't actually eat this all that well, yet. But I can grab a piece and play around with it and Skeeter. Skeeter might be small, but she likes me. We play chase and tag till mom puts me in the crate to take a nap. I can't see anything wrong with having a kitty around.

Chilling

"L" I am officially learning to just sit and "chill" from Dollie and Arrt.
"A" Its not all that hard to do.
"D" Personally, "I" will be glad when Lori Lou learns to just quit trying to get ME to play. She is a little pesty right now....far as I am concerned. My tail is getting tired of being a teething toy. Harumphhhh

"L" I am home and I am happy and I am very very very cute. Just ask....I will certainly tell you .

Kennel time

"D" So much for running "free". Its back to the regular daily routine, kennel in the morning when its cool. Gives us time to enjoy some outside and sun. Then mom comes home at lunch to bring us in for the A/C and nap time.
"A" Hey, its a dog's life.....what a HARD life we live, huh?

A Muggsy in our Family, Now :)

"L" Let me see if I can make sense of this for everyone.

I am the half sister to Dollie Mae. We have the same poppa.....Spencer. My human mom has a mom....we call her G-mom Roberts.

G-mom Roberts is now the mom to my real full brother, who is named Mugsy. Mugsy was the "runt", if you know what I mean. He is a fawn, and I am all black.

Anyway, momma and daddy came to get me last Friday....while there.....they were blessed to be able to get my little brother for G-mom Roberts......Mugsy didn't have a name at that time, of course....but he has one now. :)

Mugsy will be living in Midland Texas. Mom was suppose to have been responsible enough to get me a picture to post on the blog, but alas.....she sort of forgot to do that. Humans.....what I can say about them? I love them so much, but they can sure be forgetful at times!

Lori part 2

"D" *Grump*.....so, who cares that we have ANOTHER pug around here. "I" am the queen, you know. She will learn her place and all will be well.
"A" Aw come on Dollie, she's kind of cute. Let's accept her in the family.....she plays fetch pretty good. "I" like her....you might as well. I don't think she is going anywhere....at least not anytime soon!
"D" I reserve the right to think about it for a bit. Although I do admit one thing....she looks funny trying to play with Skeeter!

Lori

"L" Well guys, I am now "home" in Killeen. Not such a bad place, so far. Dollie ignores me, most of the time. Arrt will be fun, I suspect. He lets me play with the squeeky toy. There is decent food in the kitchen....I have been petted and loved on most of the past weekend....seems like a reasonable place to stay. I think I will like it here. I would have posted a picture, but mom left the camera in the car and dad took it to work.....guess we can get one later, huh?

Kansas is now Skeeter

"D" Humans! Sheese.....they never know what they are thinking or doing.....I heard them call "Kansas" by the name "Skeeter". I guess they changed her name over the weekend.
"A" What "I" heard is mom says the ladies at her work can call the kitten Kansas, but we will officially call her Skeeter. Cause the black cat is named Cricket and the kitten will be Skeeter....then we can always say the cats "bug" us! LOL LOL
"D" Oh, some type of silly human joke, I guess. Okay then....I can accept that idea.
"A" Her official name....Kansas Skeeter......they had to bring her in by boat, cause Texas didn't have enough skeeters, yet.

Girl, boy, girl, boy

"A" so, is it a he or a she?
"D" apparently they don't know.
"A" the silly little thing likes me.....it really likes me. :)

Kansas?? What is a "Kansas"?

"A" Okay, so what did mom bring home NOW??? And why is it called Kansas??
"D" I think its another C-A-T.......
"A" Oh, like Cricket?
"D" Yeal, I think so.....she was telling dad its called Kansas by the ladies at work cause it came to Texas in a boat.
"A" What?? What ARE you talking about. Sounds like you are talking nonsense girl.
"D" The story is.....the friend at work was on vacation in Kansas, with their boat. Got all the way home and heard a kitten for two days before they found out it was IN the back of the boat!!
"A" No way! No way!
"D" Yelp.....and you know mom....she loves helping with critters....and her favorite cats are Siamese and black cats......so, she brought it home to take care for awhile.
"A" Ohhhhhh...well, I wonder if I can get a chance to sip some of that milk?? Smells good.
"D" Oh Arrt! All you ever do is think about eating and chewing on things.
"A" Yes, yes maybe I do like eating......So, what's your point?

Momma Jan

"D" Just a picture of the "kennel" we get to stay in now. Its not bad.....I guess.

"A" Can't figure out how to get out of it.

"D" Well, silly goose, that is the whole idea of why mom bugged dad to make it for us. So we would finally have a safe place to stay in the yard in the mornings......dad wants to make a much nicer looking one......but for now.....this is working.

Me again - Hi everyone!

"L" Hi everyone! This is just little ol' me, Lori, checking in. Ms Jan took a new photo so everyone can see how I am doing. I can hardly wait to meet with Dollie and Arrt on the 19th! I am so full of "personality and spunk". Ms Jan is saying that aaaaallllll the time! I hear that mom and dad got me my first collar....black with "diamonds". Sounds fantastic. I deserve diamonds....yes I do!
